HOW IT WORKS:
Starting is easy, simply click on the 'Start a Fundraiser' button above. You will be directed to Facebook Fundraising page.
Click on the 'Raise Money' button and choose and select Christian Skaters as your non-profit.
Then enter how much you want to raise, the date you want to raise it by and a little info about why you are passionate about our mission. Then connect friends to your cause and gain supporters across Facebook.
TELL YOUR STORY.
Tell others why you’re acting. Let your family and friends know why Christian Skaters matters to you.
BREAK THE ICE.
Consider making the first contribution. This will make others know you are truly passionate about the cause and then they are more likely to get involved.
SEND PERSONAL MESSAGES.
Emailing your close contacts and ask them to get involved. After that, widen your reach by sharing with acquaintances and asking your friends to share.
Share your fundraiser on social media channels and, tag and thank people who have already donated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This spreads your message further and lets people know that others are already getting behind you.
Donate your birthday and ask people to give to the cause instead of presents. Plan a bake sale, host a movie night in the park, organize a dance party, throw a talent show, coordinate a closet exchange, put together a pasta dinner.... there are so many creative ways to have fun, enjoy time with friends and give back!
HOW CS MAKES AN IMPACT
Taking a youth ministry course and stumbled on your information. Absolutely love what you all are doing.....Taking the 2 things you love (Our Heavenly Father and skate boarding) meeting people and ministering to them right where they are at. This is a beautiful thing! I pray many blessings on the ministry. Stay encouraged, much love!
My life has been transformed, and I am glad that Christian Skaters helped to bring Jesus back to my life. At one time
I forgot him and I was angry with him, but he never forgot me. And now I am sure that without him, we are lost. Thank you Father for rescuing me through this ministry.
