Skate Missions were created to help serve ministries as they share the gospel with skaters and their surrounding community.
Past trips have included Creationfest UK, Colorado, and Honduras. Teams help build ramps, do outreaches, and share the gospel at demos. We have also partnered up with festivals and events such as the South Florida Fest, Way Fest, Beachfest, Orlando Fest and Young at Art Summer Camp.
As Christian Skaters continues to grow quickly, we are asking for skate ministries to step up to bring teams to areas that express a need. Below is a list of areas that are looking for teams to visit. If you are interested in bringing a team, please email ToniF@ChristianSkaters.com so she can begin planning for your Skate Mission.
AFRICA
Uganda & Nairobi are looking for teams of skaters willing to bring over donated supplies & host skate clinics for the local skaters
SCOTLAND
Overton House is in need of skaters who are also good with renovations to restore this beautiful castle. Short term teams will help with much needed repairs while ministering to local skaters.
CREATIONFEST UK
Each August, teams are needed to help promote the festival, build the park, set-up, minister & break down. Held in beautiful Devon, this is a great 1st time international mission.
RUSSIA
Skaters are needed to help with outreaches in Krasnodar.
SKID ROW, LA (United States)
Join teams from Enoch Magazine to minister to the homeless in LA's Skid Row. Multiple Yearly trips are being planned.
SWEDEN
Teen Challenge is looking for long term missionaries in Sweden. Are you a skateboarder who loves Jesus? In that case you can be missionary in Sweden. They are looking for new team members to the skateboard team in Alingsås, close to the west coast of Sweden. In Alingsås the pentecostal church has together with the local government built one of Swedens best concrete parks, where a lot of the young people in town hang out. These kids need Jesus, and they need someone who can show His love in both actions and words. If you are interrested about coming to Sweden as a missionary for one year, please contact us at kontoret@teenchallenge.se!

More than 140,000 people attended the festival over the course of the weekend. On Saturday, March 3, the weather may have dampened the environment, but it couldn’t touch the hearts of the people in the Tampa Bay area. Cars and vans continued to pull in as rain fell from the sky, leaving an impressive 40,000 attendees on the grounds just south of Raymond James Stadium. It was tough to ignore how the rain stopped just in time for Luis to share the Good News message ... and promptly started again when he was done speaking. On Sunday, with a great cover story in the Tampa Tribune and the sky shining bright, an incredible 100,000 people came to the festival grounds. The main attractions were the Livin It action sports demos, the children's area, 2007 Super Bowl Head Coach Tony Dungy, free concerts by artists including Wynonna Judd, Kirk Franklin, and Chris Tomlin, and of course Luis Palau's powerful message of hope and healing for all. More decisions were made for Jesus Christ in the Livin It and children’s areas on Saturday, March 3, than in any other single day at a Palau festival! Christian Skaters team served alongside Livin It.
World evangelist and author Luis Palau joined with over 300 churches, dozens of local and national businesses, and more than 3,000 volunteers to bring the “Great music & Good News” festival to Middle Tennessee. Some of the top entertainers in country, pop, gospel and contemporary Christian music performed, including LeAnn Rimes, TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Tye Tribbett, Craig Morgan, El Trio de Hoy, Israel and New Breed, Steven Curtis Chapman, and BarlowGirl.
Palau’s festival format also featured the Livin It Action Sports Tour with skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross hosted by actor/filmmaker Stephen Baldwin, as well as a Family Fun and Sports Zone featuring players from the NFL’s Tennessee Titans. The festival was designated by Mayor Bill Purcell as an official event of the “Celebrate Nashville” Bicentennial. Christian Skaters team served alongside Livin It.

(San Juan Capistrano, CA) One of the most diverse action sports events ever staged in southern California brought skateboarding, BMX riding and freestyle motocross to Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park on Saturday, October 13th. A crowd of over 5000 attended the Livin It Orange County Festival that featured extreme sports action along with live music, children’s activities, and inspirational Christian messages from a number of speakers including world evangelist Andrew Palau.
Headlining the activities was freestyle motorcycle pro Kyle Loza, a gold medalist in the 2007 X Games, and the Riders for Christ FMX team; legendary skateboarder Christian Hosoi and the Boarders for Christ skate team; the Stunt Dudes BMX team; and professional surfer and author Bethany Hamilton. The all-day, free event concluded with the world premiere screening of Walking on Water, a new film produced and directed by professional surfer and filmmaker Brian Jennings.
“We were blessed with beautiful southern California weather, an amazing show by the athletes, a world class movie premiere, and great support from the churches,” said Andrew Palau. “This festival format of action sports, music and family fun has provided a wonderful setting to celebrate the power of faith and God’s love.”
The Orange County Festival was presented by the Livin It® Alliance, a national association of faith-based action sport teams, in cooperation with the Luis Palau Association and dozens of area churches. Christian Skaters and other Livin It Alliance teams have performed throughout the U.S. for crowds of 50,000 and more, and at international events from Fiji to Great Britain. They will take their action sports show to Cairo, Egypt in early November.
