What does it mean to partner with Christian Skaters?
Christian Skaters is simply a network of skate ministries. 1 Corinthians 12:12 speaks about being a strong body of Christ. Although each of us may be in different areas of skate ministry, together we form one body with a heart to impact the skate culture with the gospel (aka “THE GOOD NEWS”) of Jesus Christ. We were formed to equip others, encourage others, pray for other, promote others, seek out others with a heart to reach skaters and support others in skate ministry.
Why should I partner with Christian Skaters?
Together we can truly reach the world. There is power in numbers. We are an army each with different gifts. Together we can do so much more then going it alone. We are able to share experiences, information, resources, our God-given gifts, prayers, encouragement, and so much more. As a network, Christian Skaters is able to skate conferences around the world, discounts, free discipleship resources, ramp plans, consultations, amazing mission trips, and the list goes on and on. We are able to help bring down the cost of insurance, demos, ramps, merchandise, etc. As the network grows, so does the amount of things we can offer. Together we are able to partner to bring skate ministries around the world by sending and supporting missionaries, planting skate churches, sponsoring children through Compassion, training new leaders, and together making a true impact using skateboarding as our platform.
How do I get started as a partner?
If you are an individual who would like to partner with us on a monthly basis, we truly appreciate your support.
If you are a skate shop, ministry, park, skate company or skate church…We ask you to pray about partnering with us at only $10 a month. This small monthly fee allows us to continue to offer resources, mission trips and more. As a partner ministry, we also ask for you to prayerfully consider sponsoring a Compassion Child as a ministry. This is a great opportunity to teach your skaters to give back. For just over $1 a day ($38 per month), your ministry will be changing the life of a child. The skaters can help donate to support your Compassion child, write letters and prayer for them. 1. Prayer Team
Christian Skaters recognizes the need for and the power of prayer. From the beginning of our mission, we have prayerfully sought God’s will. If you would consider partnering with us in prayer, please email us to let us know. We feel blessed to know that there is prayer being lifted up in support of Christian Skaters and in support of each one of us as we attempt to stay God-centered. Prayer is an essential part of our growth and a great way you can be involved with Christian Skaters. Join us in praying every Monday for Christian Skaters, our staff, that we may walk in God’s will, and that we might be bold in sharing the Gospel. 2. Outreaches, Demos & Skate Missions
Would you like to see the Gospel presented in your community in partnership with Christian Skaters? Christian Skaters partners with demo teams, pro and am skaters to bring high impact events that draw a crowd, meet the youth where they are at, and boldly share the Gospel.
Our family of skaters have graced the cover of magazines around the world. Whether XGames medalists, legends, pool skaters, high energy demo teams, today’s top street skaters or ams, God has been raising up true army of disciples who have a platform but will awe you with their humility and boldness.You will see your community impacted by the love and truth of Jesus Christ. If you are looking to plant a new skate church, begin a new skate ministry or just need help adding or or refurbishing your current ramps, then a skate mission might be just what you need. Our teams have traveled to Africa, Australia, Europe, South & Central America, and around the US to help launch skate ministries, run clinics, visit camps, and create excitement about skate ministries. As a sponsor, you can help provide for various aspects of missions such as equipment needs(, travel costs, language translators, and other general expenses. Whether an in-kind donation of needed items or by supporting missionaries with a one time donation or monthly support (see number 5). 6. Awareness & Promotion
Christian Skaters needs your help to spread the word about our mission. You can help us spreading the Gospel. Tell your friends and family members about Christian Skaters. Share the our ministry with people and encourage them to do the same. Share Christian Skaters on social networks like Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, or Youtube. Join our e-mail list to receive monthly updates on current projects and opportunities to get involved. Also get info on events, skate industry news, ministry tips and more. And, after you read it, forward it to a friend.
8. Intern
Christian Skaters is now offering week. month long, and 3 month long internships. Interns will help in the Christian Skaters office and serve alongside the team at Ramp 48+ Skatepark. This is an unpaid internship and interns will be responsible for food & lodging (provided through a low-cost mission hotel nearby). Interns will get hands on opportunity to be part of an on-going skate ministry . If interested please email tonif@ChristianSkaters.com.
We also offer expanded internship programs in co-operation with Ravi Zacharias School of Apologetics, Oceans Edge School of Worship, and Patmos Reality Discipleship. Please be aware that these internships are unpaid and there are some costs associated with the programs. Interns will split their time between the programs and interning with Christian Skaters. 9. Join Our Team

We are looking for volunteers to help with everything from organizing and arranging special events, mailing and finding content for newsletters, interviews, fundraising, grant writing, video, photography, graphics, web design, area reps, general office tasks, mission planning ,to internet research and much more. We also love and look forward to partnering with existing ministries to further the Kingdom.
10. Invest in Skaters in Your Area
Get involved at your local skate ministry, local park, or local shop. If you already have a skate ministry in your area, plug in. If you do not have a skate ministry in your area, pray about starting one. Many ministries start with a rail or a few ramps in a driveway at a small home study. Consider meeting at a local city run park or local church. Whether a small home based ministry or a full blown skatepark ministry, remember, we are here to help.
