Yesterday we received Christian Surfers first Monday Morning devo of 2012. They shared a video about this new site called The Leapyear Project. 2012 is a leap year and they raised the call to action for each of us to take a giant leap of faith in 2012. God uses all things for the His glory. We all fall short, but God loves us despite it all. He turns the bad around and uses it in glorious ways if we are willing to let God be the center of our lives. It is often these hard situations that get us to the point where we can let go of the reigns and finally give everything over to the Lord. Too often we look to people as our example but Psalm 118:8 warns us of this. "It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man." Jesus never said follow my disciples, He said follow Me!

Today's Devo is by Pro Skater Brian Sumner. Brian’s view on his skating changed a lot when he encoutered Christ. Today he rides for different sponsors, some founded on the same purpose of reaching the lost. Brian is also a Deacon at The Sanctuary Church where he speaks most sunday nights at Generations service.
