Looking for a person who loves the Lord and skateboarding to head up our ministry media. This person must have tremendous vision and creativity to capture how the Lord uses Christian Skaters and how others can get involved. They must understand the skate culture but also understand the culture of the church. Video, photography & editing skills are necessary. They will also help establish a team who will handle events around the globe. The right candidate must raise support to cover their salary. Travel may be required.

Skate Mission Coordinator

Looking for a person who loves the Lord and skateboarding to work to plan and promote Skate Missions around the world. This person must be able to communicate with global partners and team leaders, plan all aspects of travel, and help to develop team training. They must also have strong marketing skills to promote the trips. The right candidate must raise support to cover their salary. Travel may be required.

Event Coordinator

Looking for a person who loves the Lord and skateboarding to work to book events for our Skate Mission team. Currently our team consists of Christian Hosoi, Brian Sumner, Josh Harmony, and Chad Tim Tim. The candidate must be willing to work with team managers, skaters, ministries, and churches to schedule events. They must also have strong marketing skills and be able to establish a virtual street team to come alongside the ministry. The right candidate must raise support to cover their salary. Travel may be required.

Ministry & Partner Relations Director

Looking for a person who loves the Lord and skateboarding to work to establish close knit ministry relationships and raise support and awareness of Christian Skaters International. This person will also come alongside our partner ministries to help equip them through our annual conferences, our leadership network, podcasts, online training, and more. They must be be willing to represent the ministry with integrity as they lift the hands of those around the globe with a heart to reach skaters. The right candidate must raise support to cover their salary. Travel may be required.

SkateChurch Davenport

SkateChurch is a multi-faceted ministry for skateboarders, BMX bikers, boarders, and post-high school young adults located as an outreach ministry of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Davenport, IA.  We are looking for a committed Christian to mentor, lead small groups Bible studies for today’s skaters, provide mission opportunities, and skate along-side students.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Director of SkateChurch in operating the ministry.  Currently, SkateChurch is open Wednesday – Saturday with room for expansion.  Salary is provided in the form of housing, with stipends available for additional events.

Revelation Skaters

Intern Wanted in New Jersey
Valley View Chapel, a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Long Valley, NJ seeks to hire a summer intern for our skate ministry, Revelation Skate Park.  The Skate Park Intern will promote, staff and direct the skate park.
Intern Qualifications:Growing, passionate relationship with Jesus Christ;Passion for connecting students with Jesus Christ through skateboarding;Skate boarding skills;Must be at least 18 years of age;Preferably CPR certified;Ability to prepare and present weekly devotionals (public speaking) to skaters;Responsible to maintain, set up and take down equipment with volunteer staff.

Ministry Details:12 hours per week.  Hours will include overseeing two weekly skate sessions: one mid week and one weekend.  The weekend session would be open skate and the mid-week session would be more of “skate church”. Hours will also include preparation of devotionals, skater contact, and setting up/breaking down ramps.  Set up and break down will require physical moving of portable ramps.
Duration: Start date: approximately May 15
End date: approximately October 15 (maximum 25 weeks)
Total salary/driving/phone expenses:    $3,000.00

Skateboard Ministry (Chile)

We are looking for an assistant leader to a growing skate board ministry in the capitol city of Santiago Chile.  You will be giving workshops, building ramps, and working with local youth to train, mentor and disciple new Christians and evangelize those attracted to the program.
